Reviewing Today's Performance

The bottom-right section of the Dashboard shows Today's Discipline Summary with your live trade count, net PnL progress bar, guardrail alerts, and max loss and daily target thresholds. The Recent Trades table below the equity curve shows your latest closed positions and links directly to their Journal entries.

The Dashboard is not only for post-session review. It is also a live accountability layer during your trading day. The Today's Discipline Summary and Recent Trades sections update in real time as you trade, giving you the data to make conscious decisions before discipline slips rather than after.

Discipline failure usually starts small. The Discipline Summary surfaces it before damage compounds.

Today's Discipline Summary

The Discipline Summary is in the right column of the Dashboard, below the EdgeScore panel. It always reflects the current trading day only, regardless of which time filter is selected for the rest of the Dashboard.

Trade Count and Dot Indicators

The Trades row shows how many trades you have closed today versus your maximum trades per day guardrail. For example, 2/5 means you have used 2 of your 5 available trades.

Each trade is represented by a colored dot. Green dots indicate winning trades. Red dots indicate losing trades. This gives you a quick visual read on your win/loss pattern for the day.

If you have taken many trades and there is not enough space on screen to show all dots individually, the row switches to displaying the count as a number instead.

Today's Net PnL Progress Bar

The Today's Net PnL row shows a horizontal progress bar positioned between your Max Loss limit on the left and your Daily Target on the right. The bar fills to the right as your PnL moves toward your daily target in green, and extends to the left toward your max loss in red if you are in negative territory.

The actual values for your Max loss and Daily Target are shown below the bar. These are pulled directly from your guardrail settings. If you want to adjust them, click the Modify guardrails button in the top-right corner of the Discipline Summary panel.

Modifying Your Guardrails from the Dashboard

Click the Modify guardrails button in the top-right corner of the Discipline Summary to open your guardrail settings directly. This lets you adjust your limits without leaving the Dashboard. Changes take effect immediately on the current session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Today's Net PnL show zero when I have made money?

The Net PnL in the Discipline Summary reflects your closed PnL for the current trading day only. If your profitable trades were closed on a previous day, they will not appear in today's figure. Open positions are also not counted until they are closed.

Can I customise what appears in the Discipline Summary?

The Discipline Summary reflects the guardrails you have configured in Settings. To add or modify the limits shown, click Modify guardrails in the Discipline Summary panel or go to Settings and select Trading Preferences.

How many trades does the Recent Trades table show?

The table shows your most recently closed positions, typically the last five to ten trades. Click All Trades to access your full trade history in the Journal.

Does the Recent Trades table update automatically?

Yes. The table updates in real time as positions are closed. You do not need to refresh the page to see the latest trades.
