The EdgeFlo trading platform connects directly to a broker account and adds a discipline and risk management layer on top of execution. It does not replace a charting platform.
Auto risk calculator
Before placing any trade, the risk calculator automatically determines the correct position size based on:
- Account balance or equity
- Risk per trade (set in the guardrail settings)
- Stop loss distance
The calculator updates live as price or stop loss distance changes. The result (lot size, dollar risk, R:R, and margin impact) is visible in the trade panel before execution. No manual calculation is needed.
One-click trading
One-click trading executes a trade instantly using preset risk settings. Guardrails still apply. One-click does not bypass any discipline rules.
Auto-split for large positions
If a position size exceeds the broker's maximum lot per order, EdgeFlo splits it automatically into multiple child orders and executes them in one action. All child orders are tracked as a single parent trade in the journal.
Trade plan visibility
The active trade plan built in Edge can be displayed alongside the chart during trading. This keeps entry criteria and rules visible at the point of execution.
Price alerts
Price alerts notify when a specified level is reached or crossed. Alerts are for awareness only. EdgeFlo does not provide trading signals.
Pre-market routine
A customizable checklist runs before trading begins. It can be configured to block or warn before trading until all steps are completed. The checklist resets daily at a time set in Settings.
