Understanding One-Click Trading

One-Click Trading lets you execute trades directly from the chart with minimal steps. This article explains how the panel works, when to use it, and the guardrail rules that still apply.

One-Click Trading strips execution down to its fastest form. When a setup is confirmed and the window is tight, you should not be clicking through multiple panels to get in. The One-Click panel lets you execute at current price immediately, with your lot size already calculated.

Opening the One-Click Panel

Click the lightning bolt icon at the top of the Trading platform (next to the Trade button) to open the One-Click Trading panel. It overlays the bottom of the chart. You can expand it for full SL/TP fields or keep it compact for the fastest possible entry.

Compact Mode

In compact mode, the panel shows:

  • The selected instrument
  • A lot size field (pre-filled with your default or last-used size)
  • A BUY button showing the current ask price
  • A SELL button showing the current bid price

Adjust the lot size, then press BUY or SELL. The trade executes at market immediately.

Expanded Mode

Click the expand icon on the One-Click panel to add stop loss and take profit fields. With SL/TP entered, the risk calculator activates and calculates your lot size automatically, exactly as the full trade panel does. You get speed without giving up risk precision.

Guardrails Still Apply

One-Click Trading does not bypass your guardrails. If you have hit your max trades for the day or breached your max daily loss, the BUY and SELL buttons are disabled just as the main Trade button would be. Speed of execution does not mean skipping discipline.

When to Use One-Click Trading

Good use Poor use
Executing a pre-planned entry the moment price arrives at your level Clicking in because price is moving fast and you feel FOMO
Scalping where entry timing is critical Bypassing the full panel to avoid seeing the R:R
Adding to an existing position at a pre-marked level Entering without a stop loss in place

One-Click Trading speeds up execution of decisions you have already made. It is not a shortcut for skipping the decision process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does One-Click Trading require a stop loss?

In compact mode, you can execute without entering an SL/TP. However, trading without a stop loss will trigger a Guardrails warning if the No-SL guardrail is enabled in your settings. It is strongly recommended to use the expanded mode and set SL/TP for every trade.

Can I collapse the One-Click panel while a trade is open?

Yes. The panel can be collapsed or hidden at any time without affecting open positions. Your trades remain active regardless of the panel's visibility state.

Is One-Click Trading available on both MT4/5 and cTrader?

Yes, One-Click Trading is available across both connection types is not explicitly confirmed in current source material. Contact support if you experience differences between broker connections.

Does the post-trade emotion prompt appear after a One-Click trade?

Yes. The post-trade prompt appears after any trade execution, including trades placed through the One-Click panel.

Why is the BUY/SELL button grayed out in One-Click mode?

A grayed-out button in One-Click Trading indicates a guardrail has been triggered. This could be max daily loss, max trades, trading window, or news block. Click the button to see which rule has been breached and whether you want to override.
