Settings > Integrations is where you manage your connected broker accounts. This article covers what you can view and change from this screen.
Go to Settings > Integrations to manage your broker connections. Each connected account is shown as a card with its current sync status and account details.
What You Can See on the Account Card
Each connected broker account displays:
- Account name (editable)
- Platform type (MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, or cTrader)
- Connection status (Connected, Failed, etc.)
- Account ID
- Broker server / environment
- Error details (if connection failed)
What You Can Do Here
Edit Account Name
Click into the Account name field, edit the name, and click Save to update it. This is a display name for your reference only and does not affect the connection.
Select Account (if multiple accounts connected)
If you have multiple broker accounts connected, click Select to choose which account EdgeFlo should use as the active trading account. Basic plan users can connect 1 account. Plus plan users can connect up to 3 accounts.
Remove Account
Click Remove Account to disconnect the broker account from EdgeFlo. This removes the live sync connection. Your historical trade data, journal entries, and performance metrics remain in EdgeFlo and are not deleted.
If you need to fix a connection error or update credentials, remove the account and connect it again.
Connect a New Account
Click Connect MetaTrader or Connect cTrader to add a new broker account. You can connect multiple accounts if your plan allows it (Basic: 1 account, Plus: up to 3 accounts).
Frequently Asked Questions
Will removing my broker account delete my trade history?
No. Removing your broker account only disconnects the live sync connection. Your journal data, dashboard metrics, and historical trades remain in EdgeFlo. None of your data is deleted.
What happens if I remove my account and connect it again later?
EdgeFlo will run a full sync when you reconnect. All trades from your broker account history will be imported again, including trades that occurred while the account was disconnected.
Can I connect both a live and a demo account at the same time?
Yes, if your plan allows multiple accounts. Basic plan users can connect 1 account (live or demo). Plus plan users can connect up to 3 accounts. Each account (live or demo) counts as one connection.
How do I fix a connection error or update my broker credentials?
Remove the account using Remove Account, then connect it again with the updated credentials. Your historical data will remain in EdgeFlo, and the trade history will sync again once reconnected.
