Edge is where trading strategies are built and documented. The active trade plan is displayed alongside the chart while trading, keeping entry rules and criteria visible at all times.
What a trade plan includes
- Strategy basics - Plan name and strategy description (e.g. Weekly Range, Liquidity Sweep, Break and Retest).
- Charting process - Step-by-step checklist for preparing the chart before looking for entries.
- Entry models - Screenshots and descriptions showing what a valid setup looks like.
- Entry criteria - Specific conditions that must be met before entering a trade. Used later to evaluate whether a trade followed the plan.
- Trade management rules - How the trade is managed after entry (e.g. set and forget, trailing stop, partial profit).
- Risk controls - A read-only view of the discipline settings (max loss, max trades, risk per trade). These are set in Settings, not in Edge.
- Trading notes - Free-form notes explaining context, common mistakes, or reminders.
Presets
Pre-built trade plans from Brad, Jason, and Sanjeev are available as starting points. These can be used as-is or duplicated and edited.
Setting a plan as active
Only one trade plan can be active at a time. The active plan is the one displayed in the trading panel. To change the active plan, open Edge, select a plan, and set it as active.
Plan adherence tracking
The entry criteria checklist in each trade plan is used to evaluate whether a trade followed the plan. This data feeds into journal analytics over time.
