Broker Sync Stuck or Not Updating

If a broker account is connected but trades are not updating, the sync status may show as Syncing, Delayed, or Disconnected.''


 

Sync status indicators

 Status  What it means?  What to do?
Live Both Historical Sync and Live Sync are running normally. All data is current. Nothing. You are good to trade.
Syncing Historical Sync is in progress. Live updates are already working, but past trade history may be incomplete until the import finishes.

Wait for it to complete. Live data and guardrails are active. 

Historical data will fill in automatically.

Delayed

Historical Sync is complete, but Live Sync is paused. 

Today's trades and PnL may not update until the connection is restored.

If it does not resolve quickly, check your internet connection or try reconnecting from Settings.
Disconnected

Both Historical and Live Sync have failed.

Trade data is unavailable and trades cannot be placed through EdgeFlo.

If the issue is on EdgeFlo's side (capacity), sync resumes automatically once restored. Your account and any trades placed directly through your broker are not affected.

Password changed

If the MetaTrader password was changed with the broker, EdgeFlo will disconnect automatically.

  • Update the new master password inside EdgeFlo.
  • Reconnect the account.
Broker Password Changed

Market closed or broker maintenance

If markets are closed or the broker is running maintenance, live data will pause temporarily. Sync will resume automatically once trading reopens.
