This guide walks you through creating a Crucial Markets account, opening a demo or live trading account on TradeLocker, and connecting it to EdgeFlo so your trades sync automatically.

Crucial Markets is one of the brokers available on TradeLocker Hub. It accepts traders from most countries including the United States. Once your account is set up, connecting it to EdgeFlo takes under two minutes.

Warning: Crucial Markets only supports cryptocurrency withdrawals, even though it accepts card deposits. If you plan to withdraw real funds, you will need a cryptocurrency wallet.

Step 1: Create your Crucial Markets account

Go to crucialmarkets.com and fill in the registration form. Crucial Markets has one of the more detailed registration forms on TradeLocker Hub, so have your full address ready before you start.

Fill in the following fields:

Username: a unique handle for your account
First name and Last name
Email: use the email address you want linked to your trading account
Password: must meet Crucial Markets' complexity requirements (mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols)
Country: select from the dropdown
Phone: select your country code and enter your number
Street address, City, State/Province, Zip/Postal code: full address required at registration

Accept the terms and conditions and click Register.

Note: Crucial Markets requires your full residential address during registration. Use your actual address as it will be verified during the identity verification step.

Step 2: Verify your email

After registering, Crucial Markets sends a verification email. Open it and click Verify My Email to activate your account and be taken to the login page.

Tip: Check your spam or junk folder if the email doesn't arrive within a minute or two.

Step 3: Open a trading account

Warning: Your login for EdgeFlo is your email address, not any numeric account ID shown in the portal. Using an account number instead of your email will cause the connection to fail.

Step 5: Complete KYC before live trading

You do not need to complete KYC to use a demo account. To fund a live account and begin live trading, you must complete identity verification. Look for the KYC or identity verification section in your Crucial Markets dashboard. You will typically need to provide:

A government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID, or driver's licence)
Proof of address (utility bill or bank statement, dated within 3 months)

Warning: You cannot deposit real funds or trade live until your KYC is approved. Allow processing time after submitting your documents.

Step 6: Connect your Crucial Markets account to EdgeFlo
