Why Does My Journal Show the Wrong Trade Timestamps?

If your journal shows trade times that don’t match when you actually traded, your timezone may not be configured correctly.

Why this happens

By default, Edgeflo uses UTC time.

If your timezone is not set, trades may appear several hours earlier or later than expected.

Example:

  • Trade executed: 9:30 AM New York
  • Displayed timestamp: 14:30 (UTC)

How to fix this

  1. Open Settings
  2. Navigate to Account → Preferences
  3. Select your timezone
  4. Save changes
  5. Hard refresh the app

Once your timezone is set, all journal entries will display in your local time.
