Why Did My Payment Fail?

If your EdgeFlo payment failed, Stripe will automatically retry your card over the next few weeks. This article explains what happened and how to update your payment method to resolve it immediately.

When a payment fails, Stripe retries your card automatically. You can also update your payment method immediately in Settings to resolve it without waiting for the retry attempts.


Common Reasons for Payment Failure

Reason Fix
Card expired Add a new card in Settings > Billing > Change payment method
Insufficient funds Ensure your account has sufficient balance and wait for Stripe to retry, or update your card to retry immediately
Card blocked for international transactions Contact your bank to allow the charge, or use a different card
Card details changed (new card number) Update the card in Settings > Billing
Bank declined for fraud prevention Approve the transaction with your bank and wait for retry, or use a different payment method

How to Update Your Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings > Billing.
  2. Under Payment method, click Change payment method.
  3. You will be redirected to Stripe's customer portal. Enter your new card details and save.
  4. Return to EdgeFlo. Stripe will retry the failed payment automatically.

Note: In the future, you will be able to update your payment method directly in EdgeFlo without being redirected to Stripe's portal.


What Happens If the Payment Is Not Resolved?

If all retry attempts fail and the payment is not resolved, you will not be able to access EdgeFlo until your subscription is active again. You can log in, but you will be asked to resubscribe before continuing.

Your trade history, journal entries, performance metrics, and everything you have built in EdgeFlo stays exactly where you left it. Nothing is lost. Once you update your payment method or resubscribe, you are back in immediately.
