If you are having trouble upgrading from Basic to Plus, this article covers the most common reasons and how to resolve them.
Common Reasons and Fixes
No payment method on file
You need a valid card saved before upgrading. Go to Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription to add one, then retry the upgrade.
Your current payment method has an issue
If your card is expired or declined, the upgrade cannot proceed. Update your card and try again.
You are already on Plus
Check Settings > Billing > Current plan. If it already shows Basic or Plus with an Active badge, you are already on the higher tier.
Your account is in a past-due state
If a previous payment failed, please resolve the outstanding invoice first. Go to Settings > Billing and update your payment method to clear the outstanding balance before switching plans.
Technical error during checkout
Try refreshing the page and retrying. If the error persists, contact EdgeFlo Support with a description of the error message you are seeing.
How to Upgrade
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Press Change plan.
- Select Plus and choose monthly or yearly billing.
- Confirm the payment and press Subscribe.
Access to Plus features is granted immediately after a successful payment.
